Double Nude Engraved Stag Fighter
Ok what you have here is a nice nickel silver guard , and two tone pin Loveless fighter with a 5 3/4” blade. The stag is sambar, and Loveless did a great job of matching the stag. Shocking I know. The engraving is by Joe Mason, classic gold scroll is always timeless, and really dressed up the knife. This was one of the last ever made with Solder Joints, how do we know… we can see proof that this is from no later than 1991. After 1991 he went to dry fit all stainless, were this is nickel silver. The blade has some discoloration where the shop # is located, you can clearly see it in the photos. This was where the solder and flux leaked out and there was only one year where that happened. And it did it the first 6 months of being made. So this way you can always date a knife, Loveless always has points in time where he changes things. This is the original sheath.
