Chute Knife

The classic Chute knife, designed for use in Vietnam for CIA operative Harry Archer, hence the name “the Archer Chute Knife”. I just don’t know where to start with how great these knives really are. The first thing I have to point out is that is still has the holes in the guard, so you could lash it to a stick and make a spear when you were shot down and trying to eat in the jungle of Vietnam. It has a thick back so as Bob said “You can pry your way out of a thin skin of a plane or use it as a serious tool to get you out of a tight spot”. This was the first tactical knife that was made for survival in Vietnam. Randall was making fighting knives, but nothing like this pure bred survival knife. But I don’t think it will kill a Zombie, and it does not have all the crazy angles you see in the current Tactical knife frenzy. Those knives have such sharp curves you would slick open your hand just trying to hold on to the knife.

Shop #547, Riverside logo, 4 1/2” blade, two tone pins, and holes in the guard. The green micarta is the handle of choice from Loveless. It won’t break or rot away.
