THE ULTRA RARE FIRST BOB LOVELESS

DELAWARE MAID BRASS SUB-HILT

This Sub Hilt is the 1st ever made according to Loveless himself. This true-to-the-words "Original Vintage Loveless" is in my book "A collectors Dream" and also in the Al Williams book "living on the Edge" page 17.

I have owned about 7 Delaware Sub Hilts, and this one is by far the best condition of them all. The blade is "clean" for that period, the beautifully classically repaired sheath snaps add value, and the leather stacked handles with aluminum butt cap is the icing on the cake.

If you look on page 17 of the Al Williams book "Living on the Edge," you will see how much better this knife blade is than the one on page 16. Loveless pointed out that the book's printer made a mistake, thinking the knives looked the same. The one on page 16 is #26, and Loveless said the caption is wrong because the 1st Sub Hilt was #9 on page 17. I can write a letter explaining this for future collectors.

If you missed out on the crown stag or crocodile knife, now is your chance to capture one of the most magnificent knives. Nobody will be able to beat what you have. It compares to having the first V12 ever made by Ferrari. That chance does not come around often. Plus, the feeling of holding this knife is like holding air; it is so well balanced you cannot believe there are 7 inches of metal in front of your hand.

This stunning Delaware Maid is where it all started. Remember, the Crown Stag sold at $98,000, and it was a 1970 Lawndale. This knife is a super buy. I love this knife; it was always the best condition of any Delaware Sub Hilts I've ever owned.
